About Us
Calcasieu Parish Wildlife Rehabilitation is based in Sulphur, Louisiana and is dedicated to helping injured, orphaned, and displaced native wildlife in Calcasieu Parish and Southwest Louisiana.
Our goal is to provide compassionate, responsible rehabilitation and give each animal the best possible chance to return safely to the wild.
Found Injured or Orphaned Wildlife?
If you find a wild animal that appears injured, orphaned, weak, cold, or in immediate danger, please contact us before trying to feed or treat it.
Keep the animal in a warm, dark, quiet, secure container away from children and pets while waiting for guidance. Avoid giving food, milk, or water unless instructed to do so.
Wildlife We Accept
We assist with native mammals that fall within our rehabilitation capabilities and permitted care.
Please contact us before bringing an animal. We can help determine whether the animal actually needs intervention and whether we can accept the case.

Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and release injured and orphaned wildlife while providing responsible guidance to our community about what to do when a wild animal needs help.
